Free Entry

June 18, 2006

This is my first free entry in this blog. Soooo… I will write about my summer vacation. I don’t think I will do anything worthwhile except read, play my gameboy, watch my chickens eat, and sleep. I wish I could have visited Venice, Italy because I want to see what it feels like traveling on water instead of roads. I’ve read a very exciting story called The Thief Lord. It was about a kid who wanted to grow up because he didn’t like his parents treating him like he was a useless person. The main characters are Prosper and Bo who are two brother’s who ran away because their evil aunt wanted to seperate them after their mother’s death. I think that’s all you need to know about this book and that it has a little bit of Harry Potter magic too! harrypotter.jpg That’s it for now, Bye!

The 4th Quarter for 6th Grade is about to end and so is our blogging class. I have experienced a lot of things like getting good and bad comments, what happens if you blog a lot(you can make new friends), and many other things. So far I have learned that blogging is good for you because you can meet new people and get to know waht other places are like. I have also learned that computers are slow if they are all connected to one main computer. The lesson in life I have learned from blogging is that blogging will make you a better person. I think that in my life as a 6th Grader, blogging is a fun thing to do. It can be like a hobby or you can just blog for fun. I think I will still use my blog after this class because I can write about anything I want to now. I can tell other people that I’ve learned that blogging is a good way to express yourself and you will like blogging even if you think it is boring at first. A memorable moment for me in this class was when I won my first contest. A moment in class I would rather forget was when we typed all class period and did nothing with our blogs. It was really boring and my hand hurt a lot!!! I would definetley reccomend blogging for other people because they can make a new friend sand if they are shy, they can write what they are too shy to say in front of other people. To the new 6th Graders, I would like to give them this advice: never break any blogging rules, always write positive comments to your classmates, and most importantly, respect your blogs. Write your posts correctly and don’t use abbreviations and slang words that you would use when you chat. That is all I have to say to you and GOOD LUCK with your blogging next year!
