Ethical Dilemma 2
We read another ethical dilemma today. It is about a boy named Sam who got a good grade on his project and because of that another boy, Conner, starts spreading lies about him. the teacher finds out and tells them to resolve their conflict or else they will be sent to the principle’s office.
I think all three of the boys should forgive each other because when the grow older, they might still be mad at each other enough to do some serious damage. Examples of serious damage are, causing a person to get into a car crash which would endanger their lives, making a person lose their job, destroying the person’s house and other valuable possessions. I think Sam is the mst guilty of doing wrong because if he had just ignored Conner and all the lies he told, they might have stopped. Also, if Sam’s lies were effective enough, Conner might have tattled on him and said that Sam started making the lies. If Sam forgave Conner, all the lies might have stopped if Conner was really sorry, but, if Conner was actually a big meanie, he wouldn’t have cared if Sam forgave him or not and just make up new lies. I think Conner is actually the first description that I wrote so I think it will improve their friendship if they forgave each other. I think I have been in a position like Sam’s before. There was a person in our class who spread the lie that I liked someone. I got so mad that I wanted to punch him but after a few years, I forgave that person. I do not think there is any one in my life right now who needs my forgiveness and if there ever is, I don’t think I will be able to forgive them so easily. If someone did something really bad to me, I will feel angry when I forgive them, but if the person didn’t do something so bad I would fell less stressed if I forgive them.

This was what I was going to tell Brian. I’ll tell you too. In that Chinese atenna thing, I saw on TV, Mine’s in Chinese, people doing an expiriment on how a monkey kisses. They had several girls blindfolded and then had them kiss the monkey kisser. It was gross and in the end, the people asked the girls how it felt like. They all said it felt good. THe person hosting the show then told them that they just kissed a really ugly monkey. One girl fainted.
